This steamship was built 1890 at Glasgow by Fairfield Shipbuilding & Eng. Co. Ltd. as the Normannia (2) for the Hamburg America Line. She was used for the Hamburg - New York service till she was sold to C.G.T. (French Line) and renamed L`Aquitane 1899. Sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Havre and New York for the French Line 1899-1906. This image is from an old postcard. For more ship history see:
