Anchor Line steamship built 1877 at Barrow by Barrow Shipbuilding Co. The Devonia was the identical sister of the Anchor Line steamships Ethiopia, Bolivia, Anchoria (1) and Circassia (1). The Devonia sailed with emigrants and other passengers mainly between Glasgow and New York.
