Dunnottar Castle - Cruising in Norway

Starting at: $7.00

Union Castle Line steamship built 1936 at Belfast by Harland and Wolff. The image is from an old postcard and shows the ship on a cruise along the Norwegian coast. This scene looks to be from the Geirangerfjord, Norway. The Dunnottar Castle was converted into an armed cruiser in 1939, and to a troopship in 1942. Reconditioned 1949. Sold to the Inverness Steamship Co and renamed "Victoria" 1958.
