Navigazione Generale Italiana (N.G.I.) Line steamship built 1926 at Sestri Ponente by Ansaldo S.A. as the largest motor ship in the world at that time. This ship sailed with emigrants and other passengers between Genoa - Naples and New York for N.G.I. from 1928 till about 1932. She was transferred to the Italia Line 1932. In 1943 she became the Italian Navy ship "Sparviero", and was converted to an aircraft carrier. In 1944 she was scuttled by the Germans at Genoa. In 1946 she was refloated and sold. Scrapped 1951.
