Navigazione Generale Italiana (N.G.I.) Line steamship launched 1916 at Sestri Ponente by Ansaldo S.A. Due to WW1 the ship did not make her first voyage before 1923 when she sailed with emigrants and other passengers from Genoa to New York via Naples. In 1928 she was transferred to South American service, and in 1933 to South African service. In 1935 she was transferred to Lloyd Triestino. Sunk at Trieste 1945. This image is from an old postcard.
