Hamburg South America Line steamship built 1913 at Hamburg by AG Vulcan. The ship was built to operate on the Hamburg - South America service. In August 1914 she was summoned to duty in the German Imperial Navy for WW1 service as an Auxiliary Cruiser. The SMS Cap Trafalgar was sunk in combat with the British armed merchant cruiser HMS Carmania (Cunard Line) on September 14th, 1914, just off the Brazilian islands of Trinidad
