Minnewaska (4)

This steamship was built by Harland & Wolf at Belfast 1923 for the Atlantic Transport Line. The ship had accommodation for about 400 passengers, but was built as a cargo carrier. The ship was placed on the London - New York run after her launching. In 1932 the ship was transferred to the Red Star Line and sailed on the Antwerp - Southampton - New York route. She was broken up in 1934. This image is from an old photo postcard.
