Tasso (2) - departing with emigrants for Hull

Wilson Line steamship built 1890 at Hull, England by Earle‘s Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. This ship was used for the conveyance of emigrants, tourists and cargo between Norwegian and Swedish ports and Hull, England. On this image the ship is seen departing from the Christiansund harbor on her way to Hull. The ship was crowded with Norwegian emigrants on the deck. The photo was printed on an old postcard mailed by Arne Tekseth Apr. 29th 1910 to a Mr. Sigmund Hammer at Beitstaden. For more ship history see: S/S Tasso (2)
