Albania (1)

Cunard Line steamship built 1900 at Newcastle by C. S. Swan & Hunter as the "Consuelo" for the Wilson Line. In 1908 the "Consuelo" was sold to the Cairn Line and was renamed "Cairnrona". Sold to the Cunard Line and renamed "Albania" in 1911, then to the Bank Line in 1912 and renamed "Poleric". Scrapped 1929 in Japan. This image is from an old postcard.
