French Line steamship built by Atel. & Chant. de France at Dunkerque 1905. This ship ran with emigrants and other passengers between Havre and New York for the French Line (C.G.T - Compagnie Générale Transatlantique) in the years 1905, 1908, 1909, 1912, 1913 and 1914. On March 9, 1916 she was torpedoed by UB 18 when about 3 miles from Cap de La Hève. This image is from an old postcard.
