Statendam (1)

This steamship was built 1898 at Belfast by Harland & Wolff for the Holland America Line. She sailed on the Rotterdam - New York route with emigrants and other passengers till 1911, when she was acquired by the Allan Line and renamed Scotian. The image is from an old postcard.
