Manuel Calvo - ex H. H. Meier

Spanish Line (Cia Trasatlantica) steamship built 1891 at Walker-on-Tyne by Armstrong, Mitchell & Co. for the Norddeutscher Lloyd. Launched as the H. H. Meier for NDL. Purchased by Cia Trasatlantica 1901 and renamed "Manuel Calvo". First voyage from Spanish ports to New York in April 1902. This image is from an old postcard.
