Guion Line steamship built 1867 at Jarrow-on-Tyne by Palmer‘s Shipbuilding & Iron Co. Ltd. The "Minnesota" was sold to the Warren Line in 1875 and was used for their Liverpool - Boston service. In 1882 she was sold to Spanish owners and renamed "Vinuelas". In 1886 she was taken over by Cia Trasatlantica and renamed "San Ignacio de Loyola" This image is from an old advertising card.
